About Me

Welcome! My name is Sarah Anvik. I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Certified Yoga Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist, Nutrition Counselor, Lifestyle Coach and Intuitive healer. I have been practicing yoga for twenty years and through my development, I found that yoga is not only a physical practice, it is a way of life.

For over a decade, health has been my primary focus, with an extensive study of nutrition, herbs, essential oils and yoga. Through my dedication to yoga, I discovered Ayurveda and my life has never been the same. Not only did I discover a way of creating balanced health for myself and loved ones, I discovered my life's work, and true purpose. Ayurveda is the most complete and holistic approach to health I have ever found. It teaches us that everything is connected and in aligning harmoniously with nature and the elements, we can create optimal health and wellness, in a natural way. Ayurveda has changed my life and it can change yours as well. A wise teacher once told me, "If we listen to our bodies whisper, we don't have to hear them scream." My primary goal as a practitioner is to help you learn how to listen to your body, and help you cultivate the tools to take care of yourself in a way that allows you to THRIVE.

My approach to healing is well rounded and vast, focusing on mind, body and soul, and encompassing all I have learned over the years. I hold a deep belief that the patient is the true healer and I am simply the facilitator. If you are looking for an alternative way to heal and you need a positive, energetic and caring Holistic Therapist, I would be honored to assist you on your healing journey to restore and revitalize yourself.
My Purpose
My mission is to transform the way we look at health and empower people to take charge of their own healing by understanding how the body works, creating more self awareness, translating what signs and symptoms are telling us, and addressing the root of the problems to create lasting change and optimal balance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions, Answered
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an ancient healing modality originating from India and Tibet, and translates as "the science of life." It is a holistic health science based on elemental theory. The five elements: ether, air, fire, water and earth that exist on the planet, also exist in our bodies. In understnading how these elements function and work together, we can determine each individual bodie's needs to create optimal health and balance.
How can Ayurveda help me?
By understanding the elements and discovering which are the most dominant in an individual, we will determine their constitution, allowing us to cater to the individual with a customized health plan.  Ayurveda does not believe that one health strategy is beneficial for everyone; Ayurveda asks, "Who needs what, when?" Furthermore, Ayurveda does not believe in treating symptoms alone, it is important that we work to find the root of the problem so we can treat the cause and eventually eliminate those symptoms.
What happens in the initial consultatiuon?
In our initial consultation, we will review your health history, symptoms, patterns, health concerns, tendencies, cravings and the like. Each of these categories plays a part in your constitutional makeup. Based on the answers you provide, I will begin to understand which elements are the most dominant, because every sign and symptom tells a story. This information will provide a data base for me to understand where you are coming from. I will then investigate how these patterns have affected your body and where the imbalance occurs. From there we will explore options of how to correct it.
